CONTEMPORARY FURNITURE DESIGNER

I have just finished an HND Furniture Design and Realisation course at London Metropolitan University, where I focused on metalwork, materials and design.

Two of my final pieces on exhibition are in metal : the P-POD sofa and the Boot Kidz clothes horse.

I plan to continue working with metal and experiment with new and unusual materials – whatever I need to achieve the sculptural forms and lines I favour. Colour and texture also play a large role in my designs.

The Boot Kidz are a collection of cartoon-like characters that have concrete ‘wellie’ boots.
Sofa
Here is my work-in-process  P-POD sofa. I will update this image as it develops. You are looking at the structure or skeleton for the seat and backrest.
